Pre-Columbian Art Museum
Hall of gold and precious metal crafts, jewellery in
bone and shell, thematic showrooms of a variety of
cultures including the Formative epoch, Nazca, Mochica,
Huari, Chimú, Chancay, and Inca culture. Special hall of
wooden sculptures. Colonial painting hall.
Museo Histórico Regional (Regional
Historical Museum)
Located in Calle Garcilaso at Heladeros) - Entrance fee
- 8 am to 5 pm Mon-Sat. Founded in 1984, occupies the
House of the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega,
exhibition of pictorial works of the
Escuela Cusqueña, collection of pre-ceramic
period, ceramic period and Inca culture, weavings and
pre-Hispanic jewels, also colonial furniture. The Inca
Garcilaso (1539-1616) was son of the Spanish conqueror
Sebastián Garcilaso de la Vega and a royal Inca
princess, the Palla Isabel Chimpu Ocllo and lived his
childhood in this house, reliquary of the colonial art,
beautifully restored and declared National Monument.
Museo de Arte Religioso (Museum of
Religious Art)
Located in Calle Hatunrumiyoc s/n) - Entrance fee - 8 am
to 6 pm Mon-Sat and 10 am to 6 pm Sun. Exhibition of religious art works of
the colonial time and paintings; located in the Palacio
Arzobispal, beautiful colonial mansion, in
which highlights its front and balconies. Built on the
real palace of the Inca Sinchi Roca. In one of its
megalithic walls, in the lateral part, on the street
Hatunrumiyoc, is located the famous 12-sided stone, cut and carved stone block that has 12 vertexes
and it is assembled in perfect form, not being able to
enter a knife leaf among its junctures.
Museo Arqueológico de la Universidad
Nacional San Antonio Abad (Archaeological
Museum of the National University San Antonio de Abad)
Exhibition of archaeological pieces of the
Inca culture,
and objects and furniture of the colonial time. Located
in the "Casa del Almirante"(House of
the Admiral) construction of the XVII century that
belonged to Admiral Francisco Aldrete Maldonado, old
colonial house with stone facade that shows the
coat-of-arms, with precious covered decorations.

(Archaeological Museum of the Koricancha)
Located next to the Church of Santo Domingo - El Sol
Avenue. Entrance fee - 9 am to 5:30 pm Mon-Sat and 8 am
to 1 pm Sun.
